Showcasing Innovation and Building Consistency Across Technologies
To foster a deeper understanding of AI technology and drive consistency across implementations, the IT Department organized an AI Demo Day on August 27th, 2024 —a hands-on event designed to expose our technology staff to real-world AI applications developed in-house. The goal was to encourage knowledge sharing, inspire new solutions, and identify opportunities for AI to enhance existing workflows.
Showcasing Practical AI Solutions
Teams that had successfully integrated AI into their projects took turns demonstrating their solutions, allowing their peers to see firsthand how AI was being leveraged to solve common business challenges. Among the diverse AI applications presented were:
- Invoice Processing Automation – AI-powered tools that extract, validate, and categorize invoice data, streamlining accounts payable workflows and reducing manual processing errors.
- Automated Testing Tools – Machine learning models that generate and execute test cases, improving the accuracy and efficiency of software testing.
- Code Generation Assistants – AI-driven tools that help developers write and refactor code faster, ensuring consistency and reducing technical debt.
- Intelligent Chatbots – Virtual assistants designed to answer common questions, automate internal processes, and enhance customer support.
